Raman spectroscopy has become a viable every day analytical tool in R&D and industry. This can be seen from the diverse and steadily increasing number of real-world Raman applications.
Raman Spectroscopy is used to collect a unique chemical fingerprint of molecules. Each molecule has a different set of vibrational energy levels, and the photons emitted have unique wavelength shifts. Vibrational spectroscopy involves collecting and examining these wavelength shifts and using them to identify what is in a sample. Different peaks in the spectrum correspond to different Raman excitations.
TimeGate Instruments’ overall long-term objective is to become a solution provider and to provide fully calibrated analytical instruments for their customer needs.
